ABOUT TONY

Tony Simmons is the author of "The Caliban Cycle," an ongoing urban fantasy series about the rise of a new Merlyn-level magister; and the new arcane adventures of Capt. Gideon Argo and The Flying Zombies, starting with "The Lost Lemurians."

His other works include the zombie survival horror novel, "This Mortal Flesh," the fantasy adventure novel "The Book of Gabriel: An Endtimes Fable," the space fantasy novel "Dragon Rising," and the literary novel "Welcome to the Dawning of a New Century." His short story collections are "Tales of the Awakening Dead," and "The Best of Days," and he has published a collection of newspaper columns, "Dazed and Raving in the Undercurrents."

He edited the two-volume "City Limits" anthologies for the Panama City Centennial, and he is content provider and editor for PanamaCity.com and NewsHerald.com. His short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, including "Between There," "Dark Things V," "Writers Cafe," "North Florida Noir," and others.

Tony is currently at work on a range of short- and long-form projects. He lives in Panama City Beach, Florida. He shoots video, paints, builds strange contraptions, and watches lots of sci-fi.
